Tom Conway-Gordon

Founder, Conway Gordon

Tom Conway-Gordon is an international communications strategist and founder of Conway Gordon, with over 25 years of experience advising global brands, high-net-worth individuals, and government leaders across London and the Middle East. He specialises in corporate and personal reputation management, crisis communications, personal brand strategy, and high-stakes messaging.
Tom has counselled some of the world’s most respected names, including Adidas, Rolex, Mercedes-Benz, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, and Unilever, as well as senior figures in the UAE and Saudi governments, such as the Chairman of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, the Director General of the Saudi Ministry of Investment, and leaders at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
Earlier in his career, Tom advised General Motors through the reputational fallout of Chapter 11 bankruptcy and served as Global Head of Issues and Crisis for Adidas, steering the brand through major reputational challenges including the global disruption to sport caused by Covid-19. He began his career managing crisis response for the Port of London Authority during the Marchioness Disaster Inquiry in 2001.
Recognised in the Spears 500 as a trusted advisor to HNWIs, Tom is known for crafting compelling personal narratives, delivering calm under pressure, and helping clients protect and enhance their reputations at the highest level. He has written keynote speeches for senior leadership at Procter & Gamble, HP, and Mercedes-Benz, as well as for high-ranking dignitaries across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Tom chose real-world experience over academia, spending his early twenties travelling through India and managing a luxury safari camp on the edge of the Serengeti. Outside of work, he seeks adventure by climbing mountains.
